The brand name of KyRe Laine is inspired by Jennifer’s daughter, Kyleigh Renee.

 

Jennifer is a small town girl with large fashion dreams that grew up in Mississippi where she first took an interest in her craft, which evolved into her passion for fashion design.  Jennifer gained the inspiration to sew from her godmother who made all of her special occasion dresses, gowns, and even socks. 

 

She began sewing by hand in high school-recycling old clothes for herself, friends, and family. She is self taught. After seamlessly sewing custom designs for her own personal wear then expanding to tailored pieces for friends and family, Jennifer began officially building her brand in 2014. 

 

She has since continued to produce diverse, eclectic designs and exhibit an eye for high end  fashion as well as up and coming trends. This designer sees and designs a wide array of styles on demand, specializing in wedding, prom, and special occasion gowns.

 

 

Jennifer also served as the Costume Designer Assistant on "Black Men Revealed" for TV One as well the Costume Design Assistant for several television projects for Macvision Entertainment, LLC.​
